The branding challenge for us was to leverage the firm’s unique approach, while establishing a base level of confidence in their founder as a competent “numbers guy.”
The Solution :: Pinpoint positioning
Mindful Business Solutions was an established business looking to take advantage of growth opportunities, to replace existing materials that gave mixed messaging about the company’s quality and service levels, and to overcome the perception that their business was a commodity in the industry.
In order to accomplish these goals, Mindful Business Solutions needed to develop a formal brand and apply it consistently to marketing collateral that hit the sweet spot. We had to position them in such a way as to take advantage of their existing brand equity, leverage the zen-buddhist-influenced approach they take to the financial wellness of their clients, and communicate that they were still, you know, a CPA firm with all the hard-headed business savvy that entails.
Our task was to make sure that every piece we developed would speak just as persuasively to a prospect well-educated regarding financial services, as it would to one who had only a vague understanding of the concept. And we had to do it while maintaining a consistent brand look, feel, and voice.
