Well, today’s the day. Valentine’s Day. The day of cute gifts and beautifully designed valentines. For some of you, it may be the day of frantic, last-minute shopping at your local grocery store, hoping that there’s a halfway decent box of chocolate on the shelves.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. These quick, easy valentines will make that special designer in your life smile – and save you a lot of worry.

dunkin-donutsSend Them Coffee and a Donut

Name one designer you know who doesn’t start their morning with a tasty cup of coffee. You couldn’t, could you? Add a deliciously fried and sugary pastry, and the deal is pretty much sealed. Download Dunkin’ Donuts mobile app, and you can send your designer a virtual gift card for a delicious Valentine’s breakfast. Dunkin’ Donuts recently brought back their heart-shaped donuts, which will make your gift even more festive.

someecardsMake a Snarky E-Card

You’re on the internet, so you’ve probably seen Some Ecards‘ popular designs, usually accompanied by sarcastic commentary. Did you know you can easily create your own? Don’t forget to add a witty message, and send it off to the one you love (or want to annoy).

fold-a-heartFold a Paper Heart

Do you have any paper samples that you’ve been saving for a special occasion? Put them to use and fold a paper heart for your valentine. All About Origami has a great pattern for an origami heart that folds open to reveal a message. Tie it with a string, add a piece of candy, and done!

loveagramSend a Lovestagram

If you and your significant other both use Instagram, this is the way to go. The Lovestagram app lets you combine a shared picture with cool backgrounds to make a personal valentine – and it takes you around five minutes. Quick, easy, and personal.

opentableBook a Table at the Last Minute

So you want to go out to dinner on Valentine’s Day, and you didn’t make a reservation? Normally, you would have a lot of trouble on your hands. Luckily, Open Table will find open time slots and book them for you; all you have to worry about it what kind of food to eat.

rosesThrow Together Some Chocolate Roses

It doesn’t matter what day of the year it is; you will always be able to rustle up a bag of Hershey’s Kisses. Run down to the craft store for some fake leaves and floral tape, and you’ve got flowers and chocolate in one sweet bundle. Mom on Timeout has simple instructions; a small bouquet shouldn’t take you more than a half hour, tops.

Hopefully, you left yourself enough time for at least one of these options. So hurry up, make that e-card, grab some candy, and go have fun.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
